Description: Limoges Hand Painted Signed Henriot Flying Mallard Duck 12 5/8 Inch Charger Circa 1890 Nice large porcelain charger. Decorated with a hand painted flying mallard duck in the center. The background is painted peach and blue, with white yellow daisy flowers along the bottom. Gold gilding along the edge. Signed by the artist Henriot. Marked on the reverse Limoges France in green. This is an underglaze decorating mark used in Limoges France. Considered an unidentified mark used during the 1890s. Also marked B & H Limoges France in a green circle. This mark was used by Blakemen & Henderson during the 1890s. Has wear to the gilding along the edge and some stacking wear, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 12 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
