Description: approximately 5" long and 4" wideFrom Limoges in France this is a large vintage set of 18 ceramic bisque doves or love birds. They are marked "Limoges France" on the underside of the tails and are unglazed. Each bird figurine has two small holes on the underside through which wire can be threaded to attach them to a floral decoration, trellis, or other decorative element for exhibition. Perfect for elegant wedding decorations!The condition of the set is excellent, especially for its age. They have been previously used and there are some light markings where wires were used to attach them to a floral arrangement (see detailed photographs of the undersides). One bird has a chipped beak and another one has a broken wing, as pictured, Please examine the photographs carefully as they form part of the condition description.
