Description: Here is a lovely dinner plate of the Liberty Blue pattern by Staffordshire. The plate has pretty blue and white transferware floral designs surrounding a historical colonial scene with the Independence Hall building, grounds, and strolling townsfolk in the center. This discontinued pattern was crafted in England from 1975 to 1981. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, crazing, discoloration or utensil marks. The transferware blues are clean and vivid. The plate measures 10" in diameter with 1 1/8” high sides. It weighs 1 lb. 6 oz. The backstamp in blue reads “Liberty Blue, Historic Colonial Scenes, Printed on Staffordshire Ironstone, Detergent and Dishwasher Safe, Made in England, Independence Hall”. Thanks for looking.
