It is: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll, Published by Dodd Mead, 1922; this is the first U. S. edition, published the same year as the first British edition. This book measures 10 1/4" x 8" and is 182 pages. It is in Good-Very Good condition with some fading and edgewear to the binding, with light foxing to the frontispiece tissue guard, and with some overall handling and wear. Some of the tissue guards have small tears or chips; all pages are attached, but a few are starting. There are twelve, charming, tissue-guarded, full page, color illustrations in Fine condition by Gwynedd Hudson; they are printed on glossy paper, which is blank on the reverse. In addition, she has done an illustration at the beginning and also at the end of each of the twelve chapters; she has decorated the title page and has even done a small, different illustration on each tissue guard. There is no former-owner's bookplate inside, and no writing inside; it will be shipped in a solid new box anywhere in the United States via USPS Media Mail for free.
