Description: Lego Ninja set number 6089, Stone Tower Bridge, was produced in 1998 and contains 402 pieces (as per Peeron.com web site), which is inclusive of 5 mini figures, 3 mini figure Samurai helmets, 2 Ninja head wraps with clip for holding a katana sword, 1 mini figure Samurai armor, 1 horn for a Samurai helmet, 4 black katana swords, 3 light gray katana swords, 2 halberds, 4 lances, 2 triangular rocks, 2 revolving walls, 4 round plant bricks with 3 bamboo leaves attached to each round brick, 2 spoked wheels, 1 simulated sloped rock panel, 1 sloped dark gray panel, 2 Ninja 3 x 6 soft plastic flags, 2 hard plastic 2 x 2 flags with golden fan pattern, 1 treasure chest, 1 horse, 2 ornamental fish and 4 gold coins still attached to their sprue. The set was purchased new by the seller in 1998, is, with one substitution, 100% complete and in excellent used condition, which means that there is minimal overall wear on the sets pieces. Eight white panels, 1 x 2 x 2, with solid studs have been substituted for eight white panels, 1 x 2 x 2, with hollow studs. Includes the original Lego building instruction book for the set which is in excellent, almost like new, condition. The set provides for the construction of a bridge with a tower and ramp at one end of the bridge and an entry gate and ramp at the other end of the bridge. The set also provides for the construction of a two wheeled transport wagon. Four separate modules are used to build the bridge and related structures. The modules are held together by compression pins that hold the modules firmly in place but still allow the modules to be easily separated. One module is used for the entry gate and ramp, a second module is used for the bridge, a third module is used for the tower and a fourth module is used for the ramp at the other end of the bridge. The sets modular construction allows the builder to create set configurations that differ from the set configuration shown in the building instruction book. The ramps at each end of the bridge are hinge mounted so they can be easily raised to any desired height. The floor of the bridge has compression pin mountings, which allows the floor to be raised to any desired angle upon release of the floors locking pin. The tower has two revolving walls and a compression pin mounted plate with 2 attached halberds designed to swing downward when the holding bar for the plate is released. The floor of the transport wagon is hinge mounted, which allows it to be easily raised for access to a concealed weapons box that sits underneath the floor. There are no extra pieces included with the set. The set was built and then disassembled by the seller to ensure completeness. The set is shipped disassembled.
