It slides on the left hand for right-handed throwers. It has been kept in oiled condition for many years in my closet. Grandsons all play soccer and do not want it, as I intended. It is in excellent, ready-to-use condition, but I got too old to use it. Suitable for all experience levels (probably early teen and older, it is a sturdy and somewhat heavy piece of leather. If you play softball, this is as good or better as any glove you could possibly find today. MacGregor made their gloves to last, and this one could go another thirty years. (One good thing about it........ there are no errors left in it as I have used them all) The only flaw.... I have engraved my name and city on it, and of course, that will not come off. Look at the pictures - it is not the orangish new color, but brown colored from a lot of oiling over the years.I think you would love this relic - an oldie but a goodie.
