Here's the story on these stickers. The 3rd photo shows the front of the album, and a short write-up. In 2003 Mediumpres put out a set of stickers called "Super Stars". Most of the stickers are of entertainers. In addition to the movie stars, TV stars, singers, etc...there are a few tennis players, a few soccer stars, a couple of boxers and a Formula One driver. The last three stickers in the set (almost like they were added late) are three stickers of LeBron James (#'s 278, 279 and 280)! These stickers were manufactured in Serbia. They were only distributed in Serbia. I have talked with Serbian dealers and collectors. Very few dealers ordered any of these. They saw these stickers as primarily appealing, primarily, to young girls....while their customers were almost all boys and men. The set was a "flop", and Mediumpres never printed more than the original print run of 1,000 sets. The dealers believe that Mediumpres was unable to sell all 1,000 sets and may have destroyed what was unsold. Probably, most of the stickers WERE bought by young girls....and one can only imagine what became of the LeBron James stickers. These LeBron stickers are quite scarce....in ANY condition! We believe this is the rarest of all "regular issue" 2003 LeBron James items. Most LeBron ROOKIE collectors have never even SEEN these! We bet you don't have this one in your LeBron James collection!
