Description: This little leather wristlet purse is very old, Victorian or earlier. The little bag is made of a very soft fabric that appears to me to be an embossed leather, gold in color with a raised pattern of taupe and black. The little bag has foldable side panels...they can be opened out to hold a bit more (main picture) or folded in to make a smaller bag, varying from 4" tall and 4.5" or 6" in width. The gold satin lining shows some stains and wear. The wrist strap loops through a brass fitting on top of the purse; it appears to have been hastily reinforced at the loop with needle and thread. A leather covered metal fastener inside the front flap hooks through a leather loop on the front of the bag. Please look closely at the photos and email me with questions.
