Description: Leather Tribal Dangle Earrings Native American Made Totem Tiki Face ArrowheadVintage Pre-Owned and in great condition. Purchased from a Native American little store many years ago. So unusual and made to be in an arrowhead shape and is a face painted on. The earrings without the dangle metal that the earrings hang from measures 1.75'' - with counting the area of the metal from the point it would hang from your ears they measure almost 2.5" --- They are made of leather. I am going to include the backstory of how and when I purchased these - My Great Uncle and Great Aunt lived just outside of Niagara Falls area. He worked at the place that made sure the Falls had no issues. He worked and met many of the Native Americans from the Tribes in that area. He because very good friends with many of them. My grandparents took me on their visits to my Great Uncle and Aunts home every few months. On several occasions, my Great Uncle took me over to the Native American Land (the area they all lived in) and I was able to make friends with many of the people were so friendly to me. I was gifted many items on many of my visits and I also was able to purchase many items from the little store area they sold some of their items they crafted. I have many treasured pieces but since I don't really wear jewelry very often any longer, I am selling a few pieces since I need to cut back on what I save. For an idea of age, I am almost 60 years old and was a young girl when we visited these friends. By the time I was a teen, my great uncle had passed and although we visited my great Aunt until her passing after I married (married young), I never went over again after my great uncle passed. This would make these date between the mid and late 70s. -- I very seldom share the stories of my items but felt this story was worth sharing and hope these will go to someone who appreciated them as much as I have.
