Description: "Le Uniformi del Regio Esercito Italiano 1898-1902" is an 8.5"x12" hardcover published in 1986 by Rivista Militare (Rome). The text is in both Italian and English. It's primarily pictorial, however, with 67 full-page, color plates reproducing images of Italian military personnel from the turn of the last century. They're "photographic plates, retouched and hand-painted with the watercolour technique, in the absolute respect of the original colours." The book is in very good condition. The dust jacket and blue cloth boards are now protected by clear mylar but the jacket shows rubbing and a mark at front bottom. The cover is bumped at the spine bottom. There are no internal marks, and the binding is firm.
