Bound in publisher's original black pebbled semi-flexible boards. Good to Fair. Evidence of old moisture contact and damage affecting some volumes more than others, with some old mildew staining and spotting from this present. Covers worn with titles mostly rubbed, some splayed a little, pages are mostly clean but with a few pencil markings. Staining to top edge of one volume. Prior to the 8-volume 1928 expanded edition, Hill self-published this work as found here in fifteen volumes. It is rumored that only 118 sets were originally printed. Volumes from these 1925 sets are extremely rare to market.
