Description: Offer is for the Well rooted cactus hybrid 'BOURNE SPIDER' plant shown in the last picture. Plant is 3'' in diameter, with 3-5+ pups emerging! Echinopsis hybrid 'Bourne Spider' has a 4" to 4-1/2"+ diameter bloom with inner petals pink to purplish and a salmon-orange mid stripe, narrow petals, re curving and cupped. Outer petals are salmon to light orange with a narrow purplish-pink edge. Back petals are tan colored with some bronze colors, short and narrow petals. Stigma and stamens are light yellow to green-chartreuse colored, anthers are off white to cream colored. Stem growth is globular in form, averaging 3"+ in diameter by 3" to 4" tall for mature blooming sized plants. Hybridized by Southfield Nurseries of the U.K. Notes : Excellent grower and offset producer. Stem growth is fairly compact. Excellent mass bloomer on larger plants. Petals tend to re-curve more by second day bloom is open, more resembling the form of a spider. Plant will be shipped without soil to reduce shipping cost via USPS Priority Mail.
