There are two tiny nail holes where a monogrammed brass plate was attached. You can purchase one at a trophy shop or on Amazon. I just oiled the outside oak surfaces to keep the wood hydrated. I replaced the felt pads on the bottom. This is a quality-made humidor that I was awarded from my employer, with my name engraved on a brass plate, as a going-away gift. I don’t need it anymore since I quit smoking cigars several years ago.
