Description: This large ring Mauser barrel is chambered in 8mm, perfect fit for a K98 or similar. Measures 23 5/8” length. Has strong rifling, not mirror finish but pretty good. Has areas of decent bluing but also some corrosion/pitting here and there. We have photographed everything to show as many flaws as possible. There are many various markings, numbers, etc. Not sure what any of them mean. Missing rear ladder sight but retains housing. Also missing front blade sight but also retains front housing for it. I can tell you from experience, barrels like these are a TIGHT FIT! To the point that you may not believe it will ever tighten down. If you do not have experience or equipment for working on these things please consult someone who does before buying or returning for non-fitment. We have fitted an 8mm round into both the chamber as well as the end of the barrel so you can see how that looks in the last couple of photos. Also, you’ll see one photo of the fabric used to clean the inside of the barrel and oil it. It was mildly dusty but nothing major as you can see.
