I think the face is lucite or acrylic, definitely not glass. We replaced one ballast with a new one and two new 14" fluorescent bulbs. The cord has been repaired as pictured also. There are a few expected scratches on the face. The metal frame has some minor scratches and small dings. On the bottom it appears there is some weird spots that I have pictured. I don't know what to call it rather it was a vented slot that has worn or what. This is a large one and is about 19" x 16.5" and 4" deep. There are a couple screws missing in the frame but is not in danger of falling apart. Gem mint, no, but a very attractive addition to your collection.
