Description: 3 Large MAGIC LANTERN SLIDES - to fit full size Lantern - these are 4" high and 12" long, made of glass with gummed paper edging. These date from about 1880 based on items in some of the images.One slide (the one with penny farthings) has a small bit of corner repaired with cellotape - an old repair.The first image with the matchbox for size comparison was taken with daylight on white paper, the other images were taken on a crude light-box.I have a number of slides to dispose of and I've tried to put them in small sets according to subject.
