Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This is a vintage general store counter top hard candy jar in clear glass with the original metal green lid. It is square with horizontal ribs on the chamfered corners and picture frame panel sides. On one side there is an applied image of fruit on the outside of the jar. The lid screws on and off. The jar is about a gallon in volume and stands about 8-1/4" tall with the lid. Each side is about 6-1/4” wide. Overall, the jar is in very good condition given its age and intended use. There are no cracks, breaks, chips, or fleabites and the lid screws on and off well. The green metal lid has some fading, paint flecks, minor distortions, and scratches in the paint. The glass has some minor air bubbles with minimal minor scratches. The image has wear as shown—see last photo. The image can be easily removed if you desire using Goo-gone or a similar product.
