Description: Flemish Restored Masterpiece (1564/1565-1638), One of the greatest Flemish Masters of the 16th century, whose works are almost never signed and Mastery is self evident even with these Poor quality Photos . Depicted here is an interesting interior scene, we call the Kings Table , with well dressed diners sitting around a crowded table, eating and drinking, with royalty at the head - in a crown, yet in the background is a nude/semi-nude man, on a bed, being attacked by a soldier, quite the contrast. Almost surrealistic. This piece is not signed.Canvas measures 22 3/4 X 36 inches 39 x 25 inches with Frame and is in excellent Restored Antique condition. Newer Frame has been custom Made and compliments the Painting very well .Has had a very old Hot wax relining with several very old repairs ( probably form the 1800s ) , Has had a more resent very expensive Museum quality restoration and cleaning and a B 72 Varnish finish . Please carefully examine all images for condition. additional information I am a private collector liquidating my entire collection of 8000 plus Paintings because of health reason. I will sell my paintings the same way I collected them for the past 50 years, by the value of their artistic quality workmanship and academic excellence. ...just trying to recoup a little before my Heirs sell them on a Yard sale.
