Description: This large Deep Cobalt Blue Blenko is a finding its origins thx to a very kind collector. It is narrowed to 1999-2000. At once captivating & fun, sleek & modern but with a bulbous foot, indeed I have not seen another like it. Measuring just over 11.5” across it stands 7” high with only a slightly widened base as the foot, rather than an attached foot as we commonly see. Among this style the foot is typically 1-4”, whereas this piece is able to hold water & stands 7”. I am therefore inclined to classify it as a vase rather than centerpiece bowl. With more vintage Blenko catalogs headed my way I’m anxious to identify the artist & number of this unique piece. I’ll keep you posted. This Vase has no scratches, chips or cracks. There is a 1/2cm production abrasion seen in photo #8. It is negligible imo but could be polished by a professional.
