This cup is in good general condition and is of exceptional quality. It is placed on a wooden base (rear). The cup is signed below the ideograms Cheng - Te, mark of the Zhengde Emperor. Please note: the cut is slightly distorted, some small accidents and gaps on the cloisonné, some scratches and dirt, a foot is missing on the base, wear and tear over time, look carefully at the photos. * Zhengde (October 26, 1491 – April 20, 1521): by his personal name Zhu Houzhao, is the tenth emperor of the Ming dynasty (1505-1521). He succeeded his father as the tenth emperor of the Ming dynasty on June 19, 1505, at the age of fourteen.
