Description: One (1) large antique Anglo-Indian copper chased and repousséd footed box. Possibly a betel nut box (pandan). Two solid handles on sides and hasp on front. Solid cast feet. Decorated with dancing women on top and front with various animals on sides and reverse. 1880's-1920's. Good condition- minor wear, most of gold gilding on outside is now gone. Measures 11 inches by 7 1/2 inches and 5 3/4 inches tall. Weighs 5 pounds 3 ounces. See my other antique Anglo-Indian pieces and Asian antiques.
