After his death in 1910, the collection was donated to local institutions where it has sat for the last 100+ years. The collection covers many styles of works over numerous centuries so be sure to check back regularly for new listings. This listing is for an original large 17th century engraving done by Bartholomaus Kilian who was part of the famous Kilian family of engravers. The print depicts Deucalion and Pyrrha and their repopulation of the world. Sheet measures about 15.3” x 11.2”. There are some scattered stains and a few small repairs around the edge.
