Description: Here is a gorgeous antique hand hewn dough bowl that measures a full two feet long. It has plenty of wear, stains and patina from age as well as use, but there are no cracks, repairs or big chips, just little nicks and scrapes. Please note that the flash gave the bowl a slightly redder tint in my pictures. The bowl is brown, but it is lighter where there is wear to the patina. The wood grain looks like either maple or cherry. Please look at the close up pictures and judge for yourself. The last five pictures are of the bottom and outside of the bowl, and the last two of those pictures were taken in a different light, hence the different color. Note the slight unevenness to the bowl. The ends are cut flat instead of remaining round, but they are not quite squared off. Also the ends have slightly different thicknesses. This is all a testament to it being a handmade piece, and you can see the hewing marks in the pictures. The bottom is flattened and sits well on a table. Dimensions are 24" x 13.25" by 5". Please note all the shipping options, as the first one might not be the cheapest to your zip code. You can select whichever shipping method you prefer.
