Description: Large 1920s Edison Santa Claus Christmas Light Bulb Working ~ with Stand This standard size or Edison base 40 watt large Christmas figural light bulb was made in Japan in the 1920s to early 1930s. Made of clear painted glass, it's 8-1/2 inches tall and depicts a hooded Santa or Father Christmas figure in long coat holding a feather pine tree. Toys and dolls are embossed at the lower front of his coat. The bulb fits a standard light socket and works fine, lighting up brightly as shown in the sixth picture. The metal threads are marked "120V 40W Made in Japan". ++I don't believe the stand is original to the light. I found it like this, so I'm going to leave it as found.
