Description: Printed on card stock but with no postcard or address blocks, this is a great image of a resort in the heart of a Redwood Forest near Mendocino, California. The resort was known as Lane's Redwood Flat from the 1940's into the 1960's. It offered cabins, a store, a post office and a bus stop among the glorious towering trees. This card appears to be from the 1940's era. The popular resort is long gone but the ancient trees live on in a state natural reserve. This card is in excellent condition with no bends, creases or stains. It is clean and flat, has no writing. Measuring 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches, it would look great framed hung on the wall.
