Description: INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:? The shipping rates shown are for '1st Class International Package' with tracking.? Ebay is also promoting their EIS International Shipping program on sellers pages. I do not use this program because it is more expensive, slower, not very transparent, and frustrating to the buyer, if something goes wrong. Do not select it, if ebay does show it as an option. Thank you. The finest quality print from a series of portraits depicting the female aristocracy of the court of Queen Victoria. Genealogy Info: FRANCES MARY, VISCOUNTESS FORBES, is daughter of William Teritt, Esq., L.L.D., of Chilton Hall, Suffolk, who was appointed Judge of the Vice- Admiralty Court, at Bermuda, in 1803, and who married Miss Anne Catherine Parkyns, daughter and co-heiress of Augustus Parkyns, grandson of Sir J. Cressy Parkyns, of Bunny Park, Nottinghamshire. Augustus Parkyns, married the only daughter of John Borlase Warren, of Stapleford, who was sister of Sir John Borlase Warren, and descended from Reginald Warren, brother of the second Earl Warren and Surrey, grandson of Gundred, youngest daughter of William the Conqueror. Her Ladyship married, first, in October 1832, George John, Viscount Forbes, eldest son and heir of the Sixth Earl of Granard. By her first husband, Viscount Forbes, (who died November 13th, 1836), her Ladyship had issue, George Arthur Hastings Forbes (born August 5th, 1833,) and another son, the first named of whom succeeded to the honors on the demise of his grandfather, Earl Granard, June 9th, 1837. The Peerage of Granard was created after the restoration, in the person of Sir Arthur Forbes, as a reward for his zealous services to the royal cause in Scotland. Sir Arthur was raised to the Peerage in 1673, as Baron Clanehugh and Viscount Granard, and was afterwards, in 1684, created Earl of Granard. George, the third Earl, was greatly distinguished as a naval officer, and was called to the Peerage (as Lord Forbes) during the life-time of his father. At the time of his decease (1765) his Lordship was senior Admiral of the British Navy. His second son, John, was also much distinguished in the same service. The Viscountess Forbes married, secondly, December 15th, 1838, Thomas Nugent Vaughan, Esq. Lady Forbes is one of the Bedchamber-women to her Majesty Queen Victoria.
