This gem quality tanzanite has an approximate weight of 10.35 carats and is a deep rich purplish blue in color. The color needs no coaxing as it jumps out of this fine gemstone. The ring is 18 karat yellow gold, however the shank shoulders on either side of center are platinum and set with ten round brilliant cut diamonds on each side for a total of twenty two brilliant cuts with an approximate total weight of 1.00 carats. The diamonds are VVS in clarity and F-G in color. Bezel set under the tanzanite are two tsavorite garnets, one on each side. The tsavorite has an approximate total weight of 0.25 carats. The ring measures 13.2mm across the top center tapering to 6.2mm at the squared shank base. Currently this ring is a finger size 6.75. This is a very high quality ring.
