This 2001 United Kingdom General Election themed image on thin card is captioned 'Old for new - it's all done with mirrors' and features The Labour Party politicians Prime Minister Tony Blair, Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown and Peter Mandelson. Provenance:Purchased via a long established UK Fine Arts auctioneer and reported to have been published in The Times newspaper on 14 May 2001. Richard Willson began as a cartoonist and caricaturist for The Observer in 1968, before moving to The Times and The Sunday Times in 1971. His work also frequently appeared in many other publications including The Spectator, Washington Post and Racing Post. Approximate measurements:Width 521 mm, height 353 mm.
