Description: This gorgeous, unique and extremely rare PS 7" comprises a diverse range of interest and collecting facets. This was Pagliaro's second single, and it was released on the tiny and ephemeral BGM label. He was an Italian singer-songwriter, heavily influenced by Luigi Tenco. The A-side features an exotic and unknown cover version of "La Ballata Dell'Eroe" (composed by Fabrizio De Andre), originally included in the cult Italian film "La Cuccagna" (1962) (sung in Italian) [wrongly credited to Luigi Tenco on the label and the back of the sleeve].This is most likely the unique cover version of any De Andre song recorded in the region ever (and certainly difficult to identify as it was not credited).
