Description: kunisada or kuniyoshi Danjuro VIII original woodblock print $275 , only two sources of this print, and Waseda University Theater Collection, Toyko , has multiple copies but they ascribe the artist as Kuniyosi on one print and Kunisada on the other and unknown on several others. Both died in the early 1860's so this print is BEFORE 1854 when Danjuro committed suicide. This print is tipped on to a mat board by the 2 upper corners and could probably be removed without damage and it was this way when I bought the print. The print is 9 1/2 in x 14 1/4 inches on 15 x 20 matboard.shipped ground well packaged to prevent damage by the savage baggage masters.
