Description: Dimensions: in inches: W x H x D = 6.00 x 3.25 x 1.25 I contacted the Korean War Veterans Association to get some information about this item. The number denotes that this was not distributed for the dedication on dedication day. These stones were produced when required for different recognition-type awards. The number also determines that this is from the same Lot of Granite that was used in the Wall's construction. These 'bricks' were recovered from the pieces that came off the main slabs for the Wall Stones. They were shaped into these presentation sizes for the dedication, and thereafter in batches when needed for awards. There were other stones of these sizes for the newer wall, but that is from a completely different Lot of Granite and the numbers start higher than 1171. I think there has also been other slabs used for maintenance and repair. The 4, felt pads seem to be on solidly. Regarding damage, there's some discoloration/oxidation looking stains on the number plaque. Don't be shy. I will consider and respond to all reasonable offers. I will combine shipping on bundled orders whenever possible. So, please check out my other items and follow me for more VFW, Cootie, pins, etc that I will be posting in the future. ~~ thatsnotmytiger ~~
