Description: Asylum Ephemera Sale 2024-2025 All proceeds to fund ongoing archival preservation As some of you longtime followers know, in 2020 I inherited the Jordan/Ference Collection of Great War Stereography; my previous passion project of documenting abandoned insane asylums has fallen by the wayside. However, I need to fund the archive that I currently curate; in doing so I am selling off most of the asylum ephemera that was left to me by my late AMA (Aunt Mary Anne, who worked at Mayview State Hospital) and which I purchased on auction sites like this. All items are documented to the best of my ability; all are sold as-is so please ask questions first! The shipping prices are firm but combinable; this is due to the time of packaging and walking over a mile to the post office. Please don't buy and complain about shipping. Up for auction here is an unopened (and obviously unexposed) box of dental X-ray film from the DC Children’s Center / Forest Haven / etc. in Maryland. A photo of one of the dental suites from the hospital is shown for reference; no photos are included with the film. Sold as-is, probably heat fogged to the point of unusability, but a cool piece of asylum history nonetheless!
