Disassemble belt lifter Remove the label or the trim strip on the G-3, and remove the belt lifter screw. Remove the body. flat washer, spring washer from the front of the nozzle. Remove the belt lifter hook and the plastic bearing from inside the nozzle. Reassemble belt lifter From the inside of the nozzle place the plastic bearing, tabs out, through the hole. Position spring wave washer on front of nozzle over tabs of the plastic bearing Position the flat washer on top of wave washer. Insert screw into belt lifter body. Place belt lifter body over flat washer. The top of the belt lifter body should be closest to the bottom of the nozzle; Position belt lifter hook inside nozzle with hook pointing at the nine o' clock posistion when viewed from the rear of the nozzle. Hook will fit into slots in belt lifter body. Tighten belt lifter screw to 16 in.-lbs. That is fairly tight, but don't be a muscle man on this. Test assembly to see that it works, and that it stops when turned. Install brush roll, belt and rug plate. Shipping is calculated.
