Super rare Falstaff scrolling sports theme sign. Measures approx 22" wide x 16" tall x 4" deep. Constructed of a metal cabinet with hard plastic front. Illuminated by a single fluorescent tube and works well. There is an inline on off switch that does work but is sometimes temperamental, which is common on the older Falstaff signs. I considered replacing the switch but decided to keep it original. I could possibly replace if you would like. There is a motor that makes the scroll slowly rotate, showing different sporting scenes as shown. It takes a few minutes to make a complete rotation. The motor comes right on and works fine. You can hear the motor running and occasionally it emits some noises, especially at startup. Not overly noisy but not whisper quiet. I cannot guarantee how long the motor will last, but motors can be purchased online inexpensively that will work with minor alterations. I've installed quite a few over the years. The item is super cool and displays nicely but naturally shows areas of wear and tear and patina from age and use in a bar. There are two areas of chipped plastic on the top of the sign. There is a crack in this area on the left side. I epoxied the inside to reinforce and keep solid. There is an area where the plastic is melted on the front left side. There are plenty of areas of staining, scratches, scrapes, paint and finish loss, rust to the metal parts, etc. The moving scroll shows stains, creases, dirt, etc. I took close up pics for your review. All told a super rare and super cool motion sign that you will be proud to display and enjoy and wait for the compliments to roll in! Will be well packaged and insured for safe delivery.
