The main problem that I've been having with this controller is the touch sensitive controls directly adjacent to the driver-side temperature/volume control knob, and to some extent the Infotainment/HVAC mode switch. This touchguard helps prevent those accidental actuations by isolating those controls into their own touch well, so they can't be accidentally activated by a passing brushing touch. Installation is a simple peel... ...and stick, But please test fit the guard before you expose the adhesive to make sure you know exactly how you will be applying it, because once it's stuck on there, it's near impossible to reposition. The touchguard has a textured finish to resist fingerprints (unlike the infotainment touch panel itself).
