She is standing in 'Samabhanga', both her upper and lower arms and legs broken, with a well defined naked upper body, and slender profile, wearing a long vertical striated sampot, hung low about the midriff with the navel visible, secured by a decorative belt intricately carved.The torso is in excellent condition, a solid fragmented section, unaltered and unrepaired, beautifully modeled with detailing still clearly visible. The relatively smooth, yet grainy surface shows even wear on the entire piece, with weathering consistent with age. This skillfully executed image is a superb example of the Khmer culture and its dynamic artistry.
