Description: This listing is for a medium flat rate box of Kentucky hornstone flint that I picked up while hunting arrowheads. This large nodule is 11" long, 7" wide and I always fill the box up with flint before I ship it. A full box of this flint costs me $19.30 to ship, and they weigh around 35 pounds more or less. This flint works very well and the Indians made many artifacts and tools out of it. I have found several blades made out of this flint, one over 10" long in this field while hunting and even some flint hoes. This flint "needs no heat treating" to work, and it is easy to spall out.
