His number 14 JERSEY was RETIRED by the Twins in 1995 and he was inducted into the Minnesota Sports Hall of Fame in 1996. The Twins established their own Minnesota TWINS HALL OF FAME in 2000, and Hrbek was inducted into the initial class along with fellow Twins greats Rod Carew, Harmon Killebrew and Kirby Puckett.
