He undertook with Harold Ericson 1924 a study trip, including France, Italy and Holland. He has exhibited separately including House of Artists in Stockholm, Orebro, Norrkoping, Linkoping and Eskilstuna. He participated in group exhibitions organized by the Swedish Folk Art Society , Ostgöta Art Association and the Örebro Province Art AssociationHis art consists of portraits, landscapes with motifs from Ostgötaslätten and Narke and Vadstena's idylls.Eklund is in the pictured Museum of Modern Art [1] , Norrkoping Gallery , New museums , Orebro County Museum and court in Mjölby.Along with Axel Linus , Filip Jorgenson and Harold Ericson , he formed a group of artists who camped together in World War I Snavlunda , and they had in common that they mainly painted scenes from Örebro.
