Description: A Polynesian-themed restaurant in Columbus, Ohio, one of the largest tiki-themed restaurants in the U.S. operated in Eastmoor on Broad Street beginning in 1961. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, it closed and was demolished in 2000. Portions of the interior and service ware were salvaged. The Fraternal Order of Moai was formed to record the restaurant's history and preserve its artifacts. An offshoot, Kahiki Foods, is based nearby in Gahanna.
