The rotary bearing adopts Victor's unique new gimbal support system with high sensitivity and stability. A dynamic Q-dump mechanism is built into the counterweight to suppress the resonance of the arm which causes harmful intermodulation distortion and colorization. In addition, in order to suppress cross-modulation distortion caused by the difference in vibration mode between the turntable base and the tone arm base, we have adopted a docking plate that rigidly connects both of them at the shortest distance. A newly developed coreless DC servo motor has been adopted for the motor to eliminate the vibration caused by cocking peculiar to DC motors and to secure a high torque of 1.8kg-cm.
