Description: Good working condition mid 90’s compact component stereo system by JVC. Very good cosmetic condition with some minor blemishes. Well kept over the years. Complete with the remote and the original speakers ( designed similarly to Bose, with a sophisticated labyrinth woofer port) , plenty of bass for such small speakers. Hooked it up to a Bose 201 IV and had very similar results with bass and treble. Although not designed to be be blasted, at low volumes these speakers are quite accurate and pleasant to my ear. Both cassette decks work well, checked the belts internally ( cleaned the heads), as well as the cd player. On the latter I just replaced the tray belt, so it opens and closes smoothly, and loads the CD quickly. The upper display and s a bit dim, but fully functional. Beautifully laid out equalizer with large and clear track display for the CD. The unit will be packaged carefully in two separate boxes due to size and weight. Shipping might be high, but it’s a large item… local pickup and encouraged. NOTE: I would consider removing the speakers if requested and it will save on shipping and price. Just message me.
