Description: Up for bid is a Jumbo Comics book issue #104 published in 1947 by Fiction House Comics. This was graded as 3.5 VG- by Heritage Auction but I would consider 3.0 GD/VG to be more accurate. Jumbo Comics include multiple stories with characters such as Sheena, Jungle Queen, The Hawk, ZX-5, Sky Girl, Stuart Taylor, and The Ghost Gallery. I am not a professional grader but I will do my best to describe. 1) Jumbo Comics #104 a) Minor spine rolling, nearly flat w/ moderate stress marks / staple tears, cover detached at both staples. b) Front cover has moderate color reflectivity loss with foxing and a light crease 1" parallel to spine without any color break c) corners have moderate blunting, book has minor edge wear d) Inside front has moderate tanning to browning e) Rear cover has more significant edge wear along top edge, 1/2" tear at edge opposite spine, and moderate tanning inside. f) centerfold tight at both staples g) inside pages tan to cream with light foxing and dimpling, sharp inks for age with no staining or edge tears that I can see.
