(The production played 28 preview performances as "SONG FOR A SATURDAY", but reverted back to its original title "BAR MITZVAH BOY" before officially opening June 10th, 1987. The show closed after only 17 performances. The original production of "BAR MITZVAH BOY" opened October 31st, 1978 at Her Majesty's Theatre in London and closed after only 78 performances.) .....
