Description: For your consideration I am offering for sale this absolutely breathtaking marble created by famous glass artist Josh Simpson. This hand crafted marble comes with a 2 1/2" acrylic stand. The marble itself is just shy of 2". It is in excellent condition as is the stand, which of course has a few stray light scratches on the flat bottom. I took several photos outdoors and some also indoors. This marble could represent the ocean floor featuring anemones and other underwater creatures, or it could be a representation of a tiny planet on the farthest reaches of our galaxy, awaiting discovery to bring wealth to the few. If it were a vision of a tidal shore, the yellow and green could be sediment tossed by a gentle wave, anemones bending slightly, vivid colors of other various creatures sitting lightly atop the ocean floor, with brushstrokes of sand. If it were a planetoid as yet undisturbed, perhaps the various colors and shades could be mineral deposits jutting from the surface, ripe for the plunder. I've included photos taken both indoors and outdoors and in different lighting. Please be advised I do not accept returns. Thank you for viewing this item and please check out my other listings. Josh Simpson sends a powerful message for a fragile existence atop the revolutions of a blue marble, but in his case it's spun in glass.
