Details: This auction is for the stunning antique Victorian majolica mantel clock, made by Joseph Roth in London, England ca.1880-1890s. The clock features gorgeous deep cobalt blue majolica case, adorned with relief moulded red poppy flowers. The bright colors on cobalt blue background are typical for Joseph Roth mantel clock’s. The dial is with black hour numbers around, black minute hands. The face of the clock is covered with bevelled glass, used for such clocks in 19th century indicating on it's authenticity. The antique mantel clock is as seen in the photos. Measurements: The clock measures approx. 8.75” tall and 4” wide. The face of the clock is approx. 2” across. Condition: The antique mantel clock is in ideal condition and works, but we didn’t check the accuracy.
