This lessens the likelihood of chipping. The stem has crazy twisty ribbony flowing glass loops and whatnots in a deep Royal blue. Absolutely fantastic. Hand wash only, of course! When you do wash this treasure, you will hear it sing as you dry it. It holds about 8 oz. No chips, cracks or scuffs. Please see the photos.
