Author Biography Jose Silva Jr. (Joe Jr. to his friends) is one of the last links to his fathers pioneering research that led to a system to help everyone develop their natural God-given ESP, so they can use it and benefit from it every day, in every area of life. Joe was born in 1941, the first of Jose and Paula Silvas 10 children. When his father began to experiment with hypnosis in the late 1940s, using Joes younger sisters and brothers as subjects, Joe was there to help and to document much of the research. Joe was in the US Navy serving in Vietnam when his father began taking his findings to the public via a series of workshops. There was a huge demand for Jose Silvas "Mind Control" system, so in 1967 he asked Joe to return to Laredo to help with the business. Joe was one of the three incorporators of Silva International, and in 1995, Joe became president of the company. In 1998, Joe was named president of the new company that was established to manage the UltraMind ESP Systems. Throughout the tremendous growth of the Silva programs, Joe has been the most consistent factor, along with his father and his Uncle Juan, who both passed on in 1999.
