Description: The 20 Jordanian dinar banknote is the only banknote in the emergency banknotes prepared by the Central Bank of Jordan to counter the potential circulation of fake notes during the Gulf War to be released in circulation. The blue, brown, and green note is 168 mm long and 84 mm wide. Its obverse side features King Hussein bin Talal. Its reverse side features the Hussein Thermal Power Station in Zerqa and a grove of olive trees. The note has an olive branch as its registration device, a solid security thread, and a watermark of King Hussein wearing a kuffiyeh.
