( Photo)* Modules fabricated: +300V Regulator, Solid State Drive, PTT module ( Photo)* Module fabricated: Bias/Keyer (photos)* VFO Module overhauled. VFO features: New capacitors ( except tempco units), new resistors. Solid State 150V screen regulator module, overhauled ball drive ( this ball drive modified for our "snubber" assembly which is installed later. Band switch modified to eliminate burned 470 ohm resistor. New output wiring. Improved circuit ground. Rebuilt insulated coupler. Master oscillator tube socket replaced with mil-grade ceramic. Gas regulator tube and associated components removed and discarded. * Chassis mechanical work started. * Rear panel of chassis mostly populated: (8) mil nutplates w/6-32 machine screws and #6 washers installed* Interface connector ( 4 pin Jones socket) female installed. Male matching plug furnished. * Circuit Jumper socket assembly installed* RF Output SO-239 ( teflon) installed* PA Tube socket ( mil grade ceramic) installed* Tube socket installation started. * Power transformer and HV choke output wiring replaced.
